Log In as a Planning Officer

Find your login credentials from the CloudFormation outputs and access the BOPS dashboard.

Expected outcome

  • CloudFormation stack shows CREATE_COMPLETE status
  • BOPSLoginUrl and BOPSPassword outputs are visible
  • You can log in and see the planning applications dashboard

How to find your login credentials

  1. Open the CloudFormation console

    Go to CloudFormation console in us-east-1 (opens in new tab)

  2. Find your stack

    Look for a stack containing bops-planning in the name. The status should be CREATE_COMPLETE

  3. Go to the Outputs tab

    Click the stack name, then select the Outputs tab. You'll see:

    Output What it is
    BOPSLoginUrl The login page URL (via CloudFront HTTPS)
    BOPSUsername ndx-demo_assessor@example.com (or administrator/reviewer)
    BOPSPassword The admin password (shown in plain text)
    ApplicantsPortalUrl The public-facing applicants portal (for Step 4)
  4. Log in

    Open the BOPSLoginUrl in a new tab. Enter the email ndx-demo_assessor@example.com and the password shown in the BOPSPassword output.

    You should see "Signed in successfully" and be taken to the My Applications dashboard showing planning cases assigned to you.

Three user roles are available:
  • ndx-demo_assessor@example.com — case officer (sees assigned applications)
  • ndx-demo_reviewer@example.com — reviewer (reviews recommendations)
  • ndx-demo_administrator@example.com — admin (manages users, settings)

All three use the same password shown in the BOPSPassword output.
