What happens next:

  1. Review the pre-filled parameters (no changes needed)
  2. Acknowledge the IAM capabilities checkbox
  3. Click "Create stack" to start deployment
  4. Wait 3-5 minutes for resources to deploy

What happens next

After clicking deploy, you'll be taken to the AWS CloudFormation Console to complete the deployment.

  1. Creating IAM roles (~30 seconds)
  2. Creating S3 bucket for knowledge base (~10 seconds)
  3. Creating Lambda functions (~60 seconds)
  4. Configuring Amazon Lex bot (~120 seconds)
  5. Setting up Bedrock integration (~30 seconds)

In the CloudFormation Console

  1. Review parameters - All settings are pre-filled. No changes needed.
  2. Acknowledge capabilities - Tick the checkbox to allow IAM resource creation.
  3. Click "Create stack" - This starts the deployment.
  4. Monitor progress - Watch the Events tab for real-time updates.

How to know when it's done

Success

Stack status shows CREATE_COMPLETE in green.

Failure

Stack status shows ROLLBACK_COMPLETE in red.
